Ingredients:

  • 1k cleaned fish
  • 2 onions, sliced
  • 1 hot chilli pepper, shredded
  • 3 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 tbs tomato paste
  • ½ cup pomegranate seeds
  • ½ cup black olives, sliced
  • ¼ cups Fayrouz Pomegranate
  • ½ cup pomegranate molasses
  • 2 tbs fresh parsley, shredded
  • 1 tbs paprika
  • 2 tbs lemon juice
  • 4 tbs oil
  • Salt & pepper

Directions:

  1. Fry fish on both sides in oil then set aside
  2. Fry the onions in the remaining oil till golden. Add chillies and bell pepper. Cook for 5 minutes then add the garlic.
  3. Dissolve tomato paste and pomegranate molasses in the Fayrouz and add to the onion mix.
  4. Add the parsley, the lemon juice and the paprika
  5. Add the fish to the mix and cook for 10 minutes
  6. Add the olives and pomegranate seeds
  7. Serve warm
